Sayonara, Tokyo...I'm Coming Home

On our last morning before leaving, Daddy and I went for a walk just like we did on the first day.  Mommy stayed home and packed the bags for our trip home.

We stopped to say goodbye to the fire station

They had the big ladder bucket out

So high!

Hi fireman in the sky!

We went to the playground and I played with my sand toys from Nikoniko park and some new friends

After the playground, we picked up mommy and got some lunch from the grocery store

I love sushi!

That night, we went back to one of our favourite restaurants

They didn't have juice, so I had some ginger ale

The rice came in this nice pot

The chef was really nice and took some photos with us

We were already feeling like old friends

That was a nice last dinner in Japan!

I'm really going to miss running down cherry lane!

This was my favourite waffle ice cream.  I'm going to miss it too!

The next morning, we woke up and got ready to go home to Vancouver

It was time to go to the train station to get to the airport.  We rolled our luggage all the way up cherry lane and all the way to the station.

I was having some stroller fun here
I mostly slept on the way home on the plane but also watched Peppa Pig

This is me and Lester's head at Toronto airport

Sunshine City Aquarium

Today we went to the Sunshine City Aquarium in the Ikebukuro District of Tokyo.  This is a special aquarium because it is on the roof of a tall building!

                                                        Sunshine City, here we come!
 There it is!

First, we went down the escalator, and then up to the roof on the elevator
Follow the path to the fishes!

 That's a big crab!

 Look at that big tank!

 There's a shark!
 Big Jellyfish!
 Really big!!

 Tiny yellow frogs!

 Dory!

 Turtle Race!

 Turtle Monster Truck Jam!
 Little babies!
 These fish are called "Lookdowns"

This seal can stand on it's tail

 And its flippers!

 Lunchtime

The last part of the aquarium was the penguin tank. This was a very special tank because it was above us.  I'd never seen under a penguin before.  Maybe penguins can fly!
